The Castle of Parga
On the hill above Parga, the imposing castle overlooks the city. Here, the stormy past of Parga is present. The castle was built in the 14th century by the Normans, destroyed by the Ottomans, rebuilt by the Venetians in 1572 and expanded in 1814 by Ali Pasha. The fortress is open to visitors all day and is worth a visit.
